Leon Ampersand is a Burlington, Vermont based recording project of ex Pretty & Nice members Jeremy Mendicino and WIll Peters that stitches together tunes layered in tambourines, soaked in mellotron and hung to dry in rays of vitamin D.
Leon Ampersand began recording in January of 2019 and recorded their self-titled EP released that summer. As 2020 reared it's ugly face on the world, Leon released two singles, "Gentlemen Fire" in April and "I Used To Be Cool" in June.
As playing live was no longer an option, Leon focused on the release of another EP, "Milquetoast Bleeder" in January of 2021 which featured the songs "These Blue Skies, They Are a-Callin'" and "Arkansas Beauty Queen."
